+7°C. A sunshiny Tuesday in the mountains. The sky is mostly blue, there are puffs of cloud about, but clear and sunny over the Main Range. Winds are light. The expected top temperature between 9am and 3pm is +14°C.

Kosciuszko Track Report
Flowering strongly now are the cute sprays of Mueller's Snow Gentian, look for their white cup shaped flowers with fine dark lines. The Orchids are here - the white Highland Leek-orchid and green Tadgell's Leek-orchid are quite plentiful along the track for the keen eye to find. There are a few red fruits appearing on the Mountain Plum Pine and Carpet Heath. The toilets at Rawson's Pass are open. Dress for the conditions before heading out.

Kosciuszko Express Chairlift is open 9am - 4.30pm. Australia's highest golf course, the Thredbo Golf Course, is open daily from first to last light. Thredbo Bobsled is open 10am-5pm weather permitting. Tennis Courts are available for hire.

Guided walk to Mt Kosciuszko today. Join a local guide for a walk to Mt Kosciuszko, departs at 10am returns around 3.30pm. You will get to know the beautiful alpine area with great views across the High Country. Book at Thredbo Sports. The Thredbo Leisure Centre is open from 7am-7pm. Waterslide open 12 - 6pm. Yoga - 5.30 - 6.30pm. Thredbo Downhill now open from the top of Kosi Express. It's 3.2k's top to bottom and there's new features to explore, so on your bike, it's time to ride. Drop by the store at Valley Terminal. Drop by Thredbo Sports for a full rundown of activities. Horse riding, biking, fly fishing, climbing, abseiling, walks can all be booked at Thredbo Sports or call (02)6459 4119.

Tip of the Day
There's a big high peak called Kosciuszko, if in the mountains, you really should go. Only 6.5k's from the top of Thredbo's chair, in only a couple hours you'll be there.
